I went to sleep in a comfortable 25-ish degrees but woke up very cold with the thermometer saying it was 8 degrees. Sad morning. Since I woke up cold, I decided to hit the road and I was able to see the sun creep down the face of the mountains as it came up which was cool and something I don’t get to see very often.

This morning I work up with a renewed view on what I want to get out of this trip. Day 4… the day the whole plan changed. Before I get into that, you should know that day 4 ended at the Quality Inn in Dillon, MT. Here is how the day played out.

Day 1 My journey started early in the morning as the family was getting ready for work and school. I made sure my list of things to do before I left was complete and I headed out! And then sat in OKC morning traffic for an hour. But after that… I WAS ON MY WAY!
